Looking for a place to while away the day, cooled by the ocean breeze and with the sand between your toes? Here’s our choice of the best beach clubs in Bali – perfect spots to sit back, sip cocktails and enjoy the view.

Finn’s Beach Club

The absolute beachfront club overlooks the surf break at Berawa Beach, Canggu with dining below a soaring thatched roof, multiple bars and luxurious day-beds flanking a 30-metre infinity pool. The seriously accommodating jellybean-shaped swimming pool is outfitted with a swim-up bar and underwater speakers. Single and double daybeds are first come first served and come with a plush teal towel – yours “free” for the day with a Finns membership or minimum spend on food and bev.

Sunday’s Beach Club

When Finn’s Beach Club moved to Canggu, Sunday’s swooped their old spot, and it’s our cover image. Located adjacent Karma beach club, the descent to the powdery white sand requires a worth-it ride in a cable car and some steps. Kick back and enjoy life at this chic day retreat that is nestled on a white sandy crescent beach on Bali’s Bukit peninsular. Pull up a beanbag or sun lounger and enjoy a day of sea kayaking, snorkelling or stand up paddle boarding wile listen to cool island beats and grazing from a perfect beachside menu. Sip hand crafted cocktails and watch the sun set while crating fabulous holiday memories.

Karma Kandara

Karma Beach Club

Enter one of the globe’s hottest beach clubs high above the glittering azure ocean. Ride an inclinator down the limestone cliff to a white crescent of sandy beach that is perfect for a party. Bamboo and thatch make a sexy scene with hedonistic drinks and delectable foods. Groove to the soundscape by the stars of Ibiza and London’s DJ decks.

La Brisa

La Brisa Canggu Beach Club

Step into an amazing ambience at Echo Beach. Pirate ship pastiche meets bamboo building, tribal trimmings and fishing nets, ropes and palms trees. La Brisa is big and has a menu to meet demand.

Canggu cocktailDrinks range from sensationally cold beer to cocktails crafted from local fruits. Kids will love this unique destination where the sand is their playground and the pool an oyster. Top tip: reserve a sunset table.

Ku De Ta

Ku De Ta Bali

Ku De Ta is set on the southern coast of Bali Island, facing the Indian Ocean alongside Seminyak’s stretch of golden sand. It boasts a breath-taking sunset 365 days a year. Lounge on the cozy daybeds, chill out to some cool tunes, sip exotic cocktails, and enjoy a romantic dinner as the sun sets into the ocean.

Potato Head Beach Club

Potato Head Beach Club is located in Seminyak. It is hard to miss because of its unique ‘Colosseum’ – a towering elliptical façade of mismatched 18th century teak window shutters collected from across the Indonesian archipelago. Potato Head Beach Club is ideal for families, sun-worshippers, diners and party people. Take a dip in the infinity pool and watch a stunning sunset.

Ulu Cliffhouse

Ulu's Cliffhouse

As elegant as it is beautiful this is an exclusive cliff top playground perched on the rocky bluff of Uluwatu. Don’t waste a moment, dive into a morning cleanser and take a dip in the pool before slipping into a long champagne lunch. Chill on the sunbeds to the arias of all-star DJs all while gazing upon the raw beauty of the ocean. World-class chef Diegon Munoz delivers a diverse menu from club sandwiches to tamarind and tuna ceviche and whole roasted fish. Legendary music producer leads the in-house studio. Ulu’s is well on the way to redefining the Bali beach club experience.

Mrs. Sippy

Mrs Sippy Swimming Pool Seminyak

A hip pool club with retro 1970’s diving platforms and a cool Mediterranean ambiance. This is an upscale pool party heaven where lazy afternoons evolve into a jet set groove fest by Bail’s largest salt water swimming pools as DJ’s spin tropical tunes. Wood fired pizza; local seafood, fresh salads and cocktails energise the dudes who have claimed this central Seminyak space as their own. One, three and five metre diving platforms drop adrenaline shocks for the adventurous and keep the kids entertained for hours until the sun starts to dip and Mrs Sippy turns into an adults only zone.

If you want to feel the sand between your toes, hit the beach and stop off at the fully serviced beachfront bale. After the sun goes down, dance the night away to the beats by resident and international DJs.

Spectacular views, sexy cocktails and outstanding Spanish cuisine are just a few reasons why we love El Kabron. It’s perched high above the Indian Ocean, offering sweeping views of the golden sands and surf breaks below. Lounge by the pool all afternoon, then stay on for sundowners and tapas, finishing off the evening dancing to groovy beats on the terrace.

Omnia Dayclub

Hakkasan Group Day Club in Bali

This jaw-dropping cliff-edge venue in Uluwatu is designed to maximise panoramic ocean views from its cascading balconies, floating platforms and swimming pools. With modern extravagance and impressive VIP offerings, this baby delivers on lofty OMNIA brand standards, as set by the swank Las Vegas Nightclub by the same name. Hang out in plush booths, lounge on sunbeds or slip into your own private infinity pool. OMNIA Bali puts out a sophisticated island vibe and fabulous food and bev. Japanese cuisine comes from the aptly chosen Sake no Hana restaurant (its flagship location is London) and a sushi-sashimi bar. Party music works all day and bathing suit weather lingers ‘til late.
